There are many steps that go into producing a high-quality book. The reason I created this checklist was not only to provide a valuable resource for our clients but to educate aspiring authors on the steps it takes to publish and launch a successful book ... the first time.

At Transcendent Publishing, we get many authors who come to us to help them self-publish a second edition of their book. Either they didn’t know how to properly self-publish and launch their book, so it never got the proper sales, ranking, or traction to reach its potential, or because the author was in a hurry to get the book out and rushed through the production process, skimping on the small details that set a book apart and make it look professionally published.

Most of the time, they simply didn't know what they didn't know, and learned some hard lessons in the process.
